KITCHEN CHAIRS

So on the weekends, my husband and I will do projects around our house.  This Saturday while he we was working in the yard, I was upholstering our kitchen chairs.  Here are the steps:
1. Pick our your fabric- I love stripes, so of course that's what I used. (Don't forget to use a coupon when purchasing fabric.  Hobby Lobby & Michael's always have 40% off coupons).
2. Cut the fabric into the number of chairs-I had 4, so I cut the fabric in 4 pieces.
3. Unscrew the chair pads from the chairs
 4. I stapled the fabric underneath the pads
 5. Then you have to screw the chair pads back onto the chair
6. And there you have it!
 I  love them!

JAMES// 7 MONTHS

Sweet James is 7 months.
He is healthy & so happy.
He is 29 inches long (97th percentile) & 21 pounds 3 ounces (90th percentile).
He is now crawling (at a very slow pace) and sits very well.
He talks a lot saying "mamama" & "dadadada" and words similar to that.
I wish he would belly laugh more.  We will do something & it will catch us off guard because James will belly laugh.
He loves for us to read to him & he loves being outside.
Can't believe he is already 7 months!

Dear James,

Mommy & daddy love you so so so much.  We can't even express our love in words.  We cannot imagine life without you.  You brighten up our days with your sweet smile.   We pray for you daily.  Our continual prayer is that you'll love the Lord & His Word.

Love,
Mom & Dad

JAMES' FIRST FLIGHT/TRIP

I had been so nervous the days before our upcoming trip to California.  I was worried James would hate flying or get really tired after such a long day of traveling & fall apart.  But he did great!  He got a little tired by the time we arrived Sacramento and we still had another hour and half of driving, but he fell asleep & we made it!   I knew he loved being in the ergo, so that's what I used on the plane.  I also made sure he had plenty of baby food pouches to eat.  It was nice because when you are traveling with a baby, they let you get in the priority lane & board before the zones.

Once we arrived at my dad's house, James got to meet his Uncle Chris & my aunts and grandparents! We were basically going all day trying to see all my family & friends, and we still didn't get to see everyone.  Thankfully, we are going back for Christmas, and hopefully we can see those people who we didn't get to see.  Here are a few pictures from our trip:

The lady next to him was talking and playing peek-a-boo..he was loving it.
He slept about an hour and a half on each flight...

Jordan went dove hunting with my dad most mornings & evenings..
 Home sweet home
